Jun 15, 2008 · VTX 1300C gear shift. Hello, I just purchased a 2005 Honda VTX 1300C and was just curious if anybody on here has every adjusted their gear selector. Even with regular shoes on I can barley get my foot under the peg to shift gears. 2 posts · Joined 2008. #1 · Jan 16, 2009. I have a 2006 VTX 1300c. I would like to replace the current shifter with a heel toe shifter arm. I have located the arm part number 24710-MEA-740. The seals and the pivot part numbers match up OK. Does any one know if I need to replace the tie rod or can I use the existing tie rod.
