Carbed 350
i was wandering if i got a 1999 z71 if i could put a early 350 carbed motor on the tranny without any modifications. cuz im looking at a 1999 z71 right now it has 153000 miles on it. im kinda worried with it that high but its 8 grand. and i have a carbed 350 laying around and i was wandering if the motor would happend to go could i easily put the carbed 350 in place of the newer motor not sure ...Your 350/350 combo will solve neither. If you've got a bone stock 350 with 275hp...sure you can use a 750, but, the carb is not being used for it's full potential. It'll work, but a 600 or 650 will be able to do the job just as good, if not better then the 750. With your set up you would be much happier with a 600 vac. secondary carb. It will give you better throttle response better drivability and better fuel economy.
