Tried having the pump handle vertical, horizontal, and every 5 degree position in between. Your problem is most likely the rollover valve in the tank, it's meant to keep gas from pouring out if the vehicle flips over and makes it difficult to siphon fuel out.I am having the same issue with our new 2018 Dodge Ram.
