As some other posters pointed out, it means that the unlocked phones will support the more common Sub6 5G, and not the pseudo proprietary MMwave 5G that VZW has launched with, but I personally don't care. i.e, we wouldn't get VZWs early MMwave 5G network access, but everything else should/will work fine.
