Hello, my wife’s 2015 GMC Acadia temp gauge started to drop down below the warmed up temp while driving and would eventually drop all the way down and the fan would kick on and check engine light would come on and the temp wouldn’t come back up. A auto repair shop said it was a coolant sensor so they replaced it. Some 2008-2012 Enclave, 2009-2012 Traverse, 2007-2012 Acadia and 2007-2010 Outlook models may exhibit one or more of the following conditions: • Engine is hard to start. • Engine will not start. • Engine starts, then stalls. • Fuel gauge is inoperative or fluctuates. • Service Engine Soon/Check Engine light is illuminated.The 2015 LFX 3.6L engine has many upgrades compared to earlier versions of that engine.
