The magazine release is better than the Glock 19 Gen 3, but not as good as the Gen 4 or Gen 5. I will guess most of my readers who own a Glock have one of the latter, so the release may take a small adjustment to get used to. The slide stop/release button is better than the Gen 3, and just as good as the Gen 4 and Gen 5.

I built the exact same one and it was good. Added the Glock OEM extended mag release, slide release and a half power mag spring. Also, if you start having light primer strikes, go to a 6lbs striker spring. I also upgraded my firing pin to glock oem and added Ghost maritime turbo cups. It ran flawless. Did pretty well in carry optics.
This is a common issue. I picked up an extended release from AIM Surplus when I bought my new trigger for the same gun. That solved my issue with the mag release. It was the AIM Surplus-brand part, costing $5 and used the same spring and everything. I measured the mag release spring with a micrometer and it was .0505.Product Overview. I bought a blem Dagger compact frame off PSA, and installed a 2.5L spring, and a new extended Glock mag release that I filed to suit my liking on Wednesday. It’s a night and day difference. The 2.5 lb spring in a Dagger feels about like the stock 5 lb spring in a GEN3 Glock.
