Removing the cutoff wire doesn’t change anything. New plug, new plug cap, wire, ignition coil, tried different CDI, still no change.2021 Ranger 500 - no start, rough idle, backfires and dies. So I have a new 500, only on my second tank of gas. About 200 hours on the unit and I am having terrible issues with it. When it does start, it backfires, surges, dies. It smells real gassy, like it is running rich. I was told to replace the spark plug.

I tested the coil pack using an ohm meter going from ground on the coil to the plug wire and have 0 resistance on both terminals.
