The common ones are .030, .040 and .060 bored over, obviously new pistons required. When a block has been bored .030 over it usually means it's been rebuilt once, but not always. It also adds cubic inches to the displacement, a 350 bored .030 over is 355 CI. 2. 402 (.030 over) Got a good deal on a BBC 402 .30 over. Bore is 4.155 and stroke is 3.766. The compression ratio on the build sheet for the pistons (TRW L2383 .030) is 9:1 @ 102 cc head.
