We are not licensed counselors, psychologists, or therapists, nor are the group members. Celebrate Recovery groups are not designed for this. It is up to the participants to include outside counseling to their program when they’re ready. 4. Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. Celebrate Recovery is geared towards addressing the deeper heart condition and sin problem we all have. Our large group meetings offer struggle specific small groups based on the needs of the church and the availability of leaders. We are always open to starting a new struggle specific group if we have two leaders of the same gender to start it. Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a biblically-based, recovery program that addresses our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits using a 12-step approach based on the Beatitudes from the book of Matthew. CR leaders, understand your struggles, as they have experienced freedom from addictive and dysfunctional patterns in their own lives.
